Brake Bleeder valve instead of Banjo Bolt for transmission vacuum testing

I was wondering if its possible to use a brake bleeder valve instead of a Banjo Bolt in reading the pressure at the transmission vacuum test port on a W201. I am looking to get a Banjo Bolt and there werent any to be had in the nearby JY's yet. I already posted a wanted add for a banjo bolt and housing but was just wondering if this might be a possibility since both the brake bleeder screw and banjo bolt kind of do the same job .

Any one know what size the banjo bolt should be ? There are tons of post about it but before some one divulges the information on its size and pitch, the thread stops. Kind of a bummer...
