W123 280E fuel line

Does anyone know what size the fuel line is on a 280E? There is a rubber line on mine that is leaking under the drivers seat which must be the return line since the car was running and the fuel wasn't pouring out.

Maybe a picture will help... I did have a chance to poke around under there a bit and see that the hard line looks like its rusting too. That is right by the one bad spot of rust on the body of the car aside form the fender

Not sure if I will need to replace the hard line or if it can just be cut and replaced with a rubber line.

Anyone know what that canister is?
