110 Engine Verification
 
I have a 110 long block engine which I intend to list for sale soon. The number on the block is: 110 011 08 01. I believe this to be a Euro, high HP engine, but would like to verify it before I list her. Any help will be deeply appreciated!

That number is the block casting #.

The engine type # is stamped on the upper surface of the block just behind the distributor location. It begins 110.9xx.

xx tells the story.

Thanks Frank! My Bad! I was looking at the part number and not the serial number. That number is 110 985 17 032 246.
