1987 300D
Hi,
A 1987 300D with a coolant system that once at engine temperature will over heat immediately with the coolant cap on the 2nd notch. With the cap on the 1st notch, it will purge the system of air without overheating. Now upon inspection, the system holds pressure for up to a week or more. There is no loss of oil or coolant in the oil. How is the system getting over-pressurized? Is there a simple fix or things to check? |
