300TE dashboard help
I am trying to take apart the right-hand side of the dashboard of my daughter's 1989 300TE. I want to get to the little fan that works the automatic A/C controls. (This is the fan that sucks air though the overhead console intake grille to control the inside temperature). The fan is noisy and I want to replace it. The fan is somewhere under the glove compartment area,, near the righthand side air outlet.
There are two screws underneath the dashboard (right-hand side). I removed those screws, but removing them did not help. Is there anyone here with a step by step diagram on how to remove the right hand side of the board to get to the A/C control fan? Thanks in advance. |
All you need to remove is the lower portion and the glove box. then you can access it from one or the other.
