126 armrest removal?
 

Before I damage something, can someone tell me the right way of taking the armrest off of a drivers seat (1983 380 SEL)? I am installing a seat cover and need to take it off. Thanks.

It may not be the same, but for an 87 SDL you need to remove the seat back to access the mounting bolt nut on the inside of the seat back frame. Two philips head screws under the botton edge of the seat back and a wiggle and pull downward should free it. A good time the replace the stetched out seat back cargo net bungee cords!;)
