Please read 126 owners with European headlights

I'm trying to install the Euro's on my 126 but the US brackets underneath the headlights won't fit.. How did you guys secure the headligts from underneath? Did you have to make something or is there a part made for it? Thanks.

I have euro's on my 85 500SEL.
They were installed by the PO, so am not sure of any modifications, or direct fasten method was used.

Being it is Father's Day Weekend, I am fortunate to have the bosses (my wife) approval for a 3-day golf weekend.

I will take a gander when I get back on Monday, if you still need help.

Be patient, the euro headlights are worth it !!!!!!!

Mike....I'm Assuming that you want to keep your existing headlight wipers?

I plan to do some work to the 420 tomorrow (replace valve cover gaskets). While I'm working on the car I'll get out my old US version wiper motor bracket and see if I can't see a way to get them to work on the euro's.

Exclamation Take a look at

560SEL...I did not see your original post asking about the mounting of wiper motors to euro lights.

But if you look at the last post under the thread "EURO INSTALLED TODAY" I describe to "420" how I did it in my case. I hope it helps in your case.
