S550 uestion
 

Due to the fact the quality from Mercedes was not up to snuff starting around 2000, when did they finally get their act together? I am considering a S550 and was wondering what the first good year was? 2009?

I've got a customer with a 07 S550 and it seems to be a good car. He does not put much mileage on it though. Biggest issue to date was when he hooked a jumper to it backwards and blew out a relay.
