Questionable quality

I guess that's what we get with the addition of Chrysler. Am I the only one that has thought Chryslers build quality has been poor for many years. I'll keep rolling my older MB's and leave the DC models for the image seekers. |
Well I agree. If you just sit in a W220 and play with the switches and movable parts, they are noticibly cheaper feeling...more tinny and flimsier. I guess one could even blame the jap cars for the decreased quality. They come out with a Camry with more leather and sound deadening material and consumers unfortunately think it is a Benz competitor. So to compete, Benz had to do something to lower prices. So although this is not an excuse, I think this has something to do with it. But yeah...I'll just keep driving my W126 until the floorboard drops out from underneath it...which I don't see happening anytime soon :)
