500SL Help

Some assistance is required with my 1992 500sl. The car was up on stands for about a year getting a face lift, and yes, I drained the fuel tank.. part of the restore included, the replacement of the fuel pumps
and filter. .About 2 weeks ago. The car was ready to leave the garage. I put about 8 gallons of gas in the tank, and proceeded to start. To my surprise, it didn't . All it would do was crank. I could hear
my pumps running. I then ensured fuel was getting to the Fuel Distributor and yes it was getting plenty of gas. I then primed the intake and the car fired right up. So then I removed one of the fuel lines
from the injector and no gas. I cranked the motor and no fuel at the line. I removed the fuel distributor and blew air through all the fuel ports ensuring nothing was clogged. A friend of mine
let me borrow a EHA valve , hopping that was the fix,. I reassembled the distributor and all it does is crank. Still no fuel going to my injector's. My next step is replacing the fuel distributor, but
the cost is high. Is there anything else I can check??? I also ensured my fuel cap was good. PLEASE HELP before I blow this thing up. ( LOL ) Thanks

Check the fuel pressure...

What should the fuel pressure be?

Best to look up your specific vehicle in the factory service manual which is at the following link. That also tells you how to do various fuel system tests including an internal leak test.
