W211 Brake Wear Indicator Cable Replacement

I have a W211 2008 E350 RWD Sedan. I need to replace the brake wear indicator cable on the right rear wheel. I am not referring to the sensor, but the cable that the sensor plugs into that runs up behind the wheel well and plugs in somewhere up there with a right angle plug. Before I go taking things apart, is the plug-in point accessible from the wheel well, and what is the best way to get the necessary access behind the inner wheel well? Thank you.

I can only speak to the W210, and the connector is accessible up at the top of the wheel well.

Thank you for your input. I'll start tearing into it once the part arrives!
