Shocks for C280 Sport
My mom's '00 C280 has the sport package (code 956). Are the Bilstein B8 sport shocks the right ones? Some parts listings say "Except sports package". It doesn't make sense.

I would say you need to buy Bilstein Sport shocks designed for the Sports Package. Check this website for them.

The original sport shocks are not the same as the aftermarket sport shocks. The aftermarket Bilstein spot shocks are designed to be used on cars than have been lowered. If you want the originals you can either go to the dealer or call the folks on this site. This site does not list the original sport shocks in the parts catalog, but I am sure they can get them. Be prepared; they are not cheap.

Thanks for the info folks. Is it possible to just install the touring shocks? I know they are cheaper, and that's what I wanted to do, but I didn't know if they would fit or bolt right in.
