190E 6-cylinder Water Pump O-Rings
When replacing the water pump on a 1991 190E, six cylinder do you need to use any sealer or lubricant? When I removed the old pump both o-rings had a blue sealant on them.

I didn't use any lubricant or sealer on my 190 e 2.6 water pump where it attaches to the engine block. I did use some petroleum jelly on the o-rings where the tube attaches. My pump doesn't leak a drop.
