New problem with turn signal cutting out when braking
Saw strange signals on dash seconds before we went off the curb.
It what distracted me. I can't find a dim left green pointing arrow in instructions. The left facing arrow appears when the brake is applied. Today I noticed I did not have a left turn signal. I'd stopped to test the lights as earlier I had switched from hi beam to low beam. (I was running in hi beams but never knew you had to push the lever) Manual also mentions clockwise 2 turns? Could I have messed something? Left signal worked so figured it fixed itself. Then I'm leaving & noticed the left signal works but if you apply brakes it stops? I noticed alot of bad wires under the car. The rubber jacketing just smears off. Also Left signal is strange...& really cool... It's a double blink from back to side tail in fast succession. It never was like thhis so something wen t wrong. Anyway since its a euro the thrird brakelight was piggy backed with something else. What could make a left arrow appear & why does left turn signal stop when brakes are applied. Turn signal comes back when foot is not on \brake. The wiring on a euro is different so wish me luck.... :( |
