Are cooling fan motors repairable?

Depends what's wrong with it. If stiff to turn bearings can be lubricated, 20 years of debris can be cleaned out, etc. Any more than that and a used or new unit is probably more cost effective. Its a pain to R&R so I lean toward replacement.
