valve job cost M117

What approx. cost can I expect to pay for a valve job for M117.985 (early 450SLC) engine, assuming no complications? How much if it includes replacing timing chain and upper chain guides? I live in the LA area. Thanks.

I've been quoted about $2,500 by several places. I don't think including the timing chain or guides.

When I had my 85 500SEL (M117) I was using some oil, my mechanic belived it was valve seals and quoted me $400.
