Oil Leak
 

My 1997 e-420 has a bad oil leak somewhere around oil filter. I cant see exactly where its coming from. I have changed filter twice its not leaking around cap...???? Help---

On the M112 there is a oil inspection port on the front of the timing chain cover. It's rectangular (about 1" x 2") with a round plug located just below the oil filter. It's a common source of oil leaks and the fix is to replace the rectangular gasket/seal. I assume your engine would have something similar as the M112 and M113 are similar design.
