Tow Hitch 2005 C230 Sedan
 

I have just purchased a Curt tow hitch for my 2005 C230 Kompressor Sedan. Although I have the hitch, parts, and instructions, I am having trouble envisioning what the installed hitch will look like. Does anyone out there have a hitch installed on their C230 Sedan? If so, can you show me a picture or 2 of what it looks like on the car?

One thing I am trying to envision is if the hitch sits below the bumper, or if i must go thru it. The instructions don't say anything about cutting a hole in the bumper & I hope I don't have to.

I thought Id read that towing wasnt recommended for C230's ??

I'm actually not planning on doing any towing, just would like to attach my bike rack to it. Has anyone done that as well? If so, could you show me some pics of how the bike rack attaches to the receiver?
