2007 Mercedes C230 Overhead control module
Hello all. Does anyone know if the overhead control modules have to be programmed/ coded before installation in my C230?

Yes the OCP is programmable. The replacement unit should work right out of the box, though. The most common issue is incorrect coding of the windshield type, which may result in erratic operation of the rain-sensing wipers.
