Alright, Dodge transmission fluid will work in the 722.6 transmission

Dodge p/n 05127382AA transmission fluid meets the MB specs 236.10 and 236.12 which is what the 722.6 transmission calls for.

I would trust Dodge,as I had them from time to time, and no more.Every one had trans issues. One car I replace trans 6 times in five years. That was it for me. Now I use syntheic in both my vehicles.

If you get this 001-989-68-03-13-M851 at Pelican in the 4-liter bottle, you pay $10.56/Liter. My shipping worked out to about $1/L, so still a great deal.

The local dodge dealer is within about 20 miles of house which is a big positive for me.

Jim,

I would trust it if it meets the approvals, but I use shell atf 134 for about half the price, yet for me the savings adds-up because I do fluid exchanges not just fluid in the pan, so one ends up using nearly a case of fluid.

Here is the scoop on Shell ATF 134:

A new Mobil ATF 134 that meets 236.14, 12, and 10 - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

Ryder Fleet Shell ATF134 (236.14) IS the "Real Deal" - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

236.10 ATF Marketing Mumbo-Jumbo??? - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

This is how you get the stuff:

Information on ordering Shell ATF 134 - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

Best of luck,

Martin
