What engine? What car? Full throttle on its own, or just reduced performance?

Well like I said it depends.
On my TDI if the MAF is unplugged the computer uses a "safe" value which reduces power some. It would still rev though and there's no harm to the engine. I imagine your gas S320 would be more grumpy. I guess it could use the O2 sensor(s) to get the fuel trims correct though. -J

ok just checking to see if I should try a maf, still can't figure why I can't hit full throttle, without acting like no fuel.Fuel pressure right on,I I knew how easy to pull injectors I'd see if they are mucked up.ran a scan only code was a 0410,because I don't use secondary air injection, have not for 4 years.Oxygen switching fine, maf works, and ignition all new.
Fuel tank was drained, new fuel in.new filter

With what metric have you determined you aren't "hitting full throttle"
I think do a compression test is the best advice you got in your last thread. Doesn't your car have nearly 200k miles on it, and you're spraying a lot of nitrous on it. May just be time for a longblock.
