W123 Sun Visor Panel Vinyl Question
 

I removed my sun visor panel about 6 months ago when I started on restoring the interior of my w123. Since it has been so long, I cannot remember if the vinyl from the panel extends to up behind the aluminum "webasto" strip or not. I reinstalled the panel today after recovering it (which was a real PITA!) and now it hangs down a little. I am guessing that I should have left extra material by the sunroof so that it could be clamped behind the "webasto" strip helping to hold the panel up? I am hoping that there is another solution because I really don't want to order more material and try to redo it...
