People from Western PA please read this!
 

Hey guys, I posted about this in the performance paddock, but got only one response. Hopefully I can suck more than one from putting this here. If I am wrong for putting it here you can move it. But, I'm looking for people from Western PA, those around Pittsburgh... I have someone willing to come from Mount Lebanon, anywhere in western PA!! Or if you can get to Monroeville, that's where I'm going to try and hold a small Mercedes Car Club. Anyone who has a Mercedes, or just loves them (if yours is out of comission, if you love them I'm sure you've got one). It would be awesome if you drove it down so we could all check it out, and share our info on how to fix things and help you out. We would meet on a friday or saturday in a parking lot which has plenty of room for cars. We'd all park em and sit around them and talk. So far I have 5 people, which I would be happy with as a start, but if you're interested please post or please contact me at:

Sorry about the lack of a response, my e-mail has been changed recently, and is still not working correctly. At any rate, I'd attend a group like that, start throwing out possible dates and maybe some more people will pick up. I'd love to take a look at some of those cars, so add my 16v to the list.

Hey, thanks for the response, I'm looking at either April 19th or April 20th, either would work fine for me. It doesn't matter what time we meet because I'm local of course. Whenever is easiest for you.

Where are you from Dan? Do you know where Monroeville is? If so, swing by with Victoria, havn't seen a 16v yet. If you know anyone in the area too that might be interested tell them. The more people, the wider variety of cars we get, the better! Drop a reply and let me know, thanks!

Maybe when you guys get settled you can come out to Pocono Raceway as a group if any are interested in racing. We have a great ride along program in a Winston Cup style racecar. You can make a great day out of it. Check out the website (877stockcar.com). E mail me if interested.

Where are looking at meeting? I'm in youngstown, OH, so I'm relatively close to Pitt; at least the way I drive.

Hey, we're going to meet in Monroeville. It's about 15 minutes outside the city, it's extremely easy to get to, whether you're going on the turnpike or the parkway. I can definately give you directions if you need them. We'd meet right off of business 22 in the penn center parking lot. It all depends on how many people are interested really. If we get more than 10, we might have to get to a bigger lot. Where we go, we can meet somewhere right on the main highway, that way you can find us easy. Don't mix us up with the car club full of civics, pickup trucks, and dodge neons that meet just down the road :) Welp, post if you have any questions. We're looking to meet the 19th or the 20th. Whatever time is best for everyone, whether you want day to see the cars in light, or night, doesn't matter to me. See ya!

What news on the benz meet? I'll definitely be there, maybe with a non-benz friend (read: possible convert!). Either day is okey with me.
