Windshield is in! Spoke to the guys at the shop, and they supposedly had no trouble with this URO seal, so I guess I lucked out! They had the job done fairly quickly from the time they told me they were starting work on the car. Trim and fitment looks excellent and good as new. No issues of weird gaps or anything that I can find.

Thanks for everyone's responses and advice offered. I was really worried I'd have to shell out more money on an MB seal, glad this one worked out in the end. Pics to follow.

I'd regularly spray the new URO seal with 303 Protectant to try and keep the inexpensive URO rubber from turning to rock.

I'll be sure to tell the owner of the car. Not sure if I mentioned this yet, but I had this car to do some work on, the hood came flying up on me during a short test drive...thus I need to save as much $$ as possible, also at best the car itself ain't worth much more than a grand IMO...

Tell him to wait two weeks so that any glue or sealants have plenty of time to set up properly then run it through a car wash and check carefully for leaks. I'd run it through the car wash TWICE if it were mine.

The 303 Protectant is for sale on amazon.com I use it on the 560SELs dashboard to keep it looking like NEW....the stuff is AMAZING!!!
