Idling problems/loss of power
 

96 E320.....Car idles high and low upon starting.....When stop at light takes a short time to build power for acceleration and sounds as if its backfiring... Then takes off. Any help would be beneificial....Thanks:confused::confused::confused:

fouled spark plugs, possibly leaking valve seals or ruptured transmission vacuum modulator diaphragm.

i have similar problem mine you can't push the gas pedal to hard,im replacing cranksensor,and cam sensor,as they can mess with the engines timing

I recently ran into a problem like this (I have a post on it as well). Long story short, I'm 99% sure it was bad Premium gas (also added some injector cleaner).
