The left front power window on my 1989 190E 2.6 is stuck in the up position. I pulled the panel and saw that the motor will move the window up, but not down. The regulator is fine. Am I looking at the motor when I should be looking at the switch?

You can test the switch by swapping the driver front with the passenger front. Pop the console wood and swapthe switches. This will tell you. My driver switch failed and I swapped mine until the new driver switch arrived from Fastlane here.
