Help with my 114 250CE
Hi,
I have a '69 Model 250CE which is making a rather loud noise from the right rear axle area. The left hand side axle is floating as they're meant to, but the Right Hand Side is locked up, and if you move it lengthways it stops the noise for a short period. any ideas what to do, once i have removed the brakes, and rotor, do i undo that large bolt in the middle and pull the hub off, or is there a tool required? Is there any other suggestions?. i really need a manual for this car too, i've only had it a week. and i am very impressed with it. Thanks in advance for your help Regards Russell Brisbane, Australia |

G'Day Russell. You might want to additionally post this on the Vintage Mercedes Forum. There are some folks there who are really knowledgeable on the older models.
