Isn't that a shame...but only the "cheap" vesrion...more

The XL-7500 is Amsoil's bottom shelf product. Since it's inception back in 99 the XL-7500 has always been the lower tier oil designed specifically to be competitive with the $4.00 off the shelf synthtetics, comply with API specs, and have something for the warranty concsious consumer who was not comfortable with darin intervals beyond the factory recommendation.

The main line of Amsoil's products are still Group IV PAOS and still the best value in the business.

You are correct, Don, that the XL-7500 series oils are the cheaper ones among Amsoil oils.

However, the point here is that this cheap XL-7500 series oil is going from PAO to Group III.
