C36 Check Engine Light

I have a 1995 C36 and the check engine light just came on. Does anyone have any suggestions to what it could be. Also does anyone know where the computer reset button is located.

Thank you.

CE light coming on can mean anything...get the code from the car and ask again.

btw there is no rest button for the CE light..you need the diagnostic tool to reset it or unpulg the battery.

You need a diagnostic tool that reads OBDII. You have to either goto the dealership or an independent mechanic to pull the codes.

OBD II is OnBoard Diagnostics II. All cars in 96 were required to have this system in the US for emissions purposes.

Your cars have some form of OBD, but it's not OBDII. I believe your 400E has a pushbutton where you can get codes from.

Good luck!
