'86 300E, From what other years and models will drivers seats match?
 

I'm checking junkyards for a drivers power seat in Palomino MB-Tex for my '86 300E. What other years or Mercedes models would interchange? Here is a photo of the passenger seat.

Any MB tex seat up through 1995 will fit and match cosmetically, however, only 1986-1989 seats will have the same cushions and springs as your 1986.

I acutally replaced the cushion and spring to my 1988 with the 1990 and newer style cushion and spring and what a difference!!
Much firmer and more comfortable.

I would like to replace the front seat on my 87e, with which I can't seem to find a comfortable position, with those from a junkyard 90e. Could you please describe how to do it or refer me to instructions.Thanks so much.
