N10 combination relay (W140) - how to change?
 

Edit - I figured it out. At least changing the combination relay. You pull it toward you and it pulls out. It snapped loose, as did the connections, but the connections took some coaxing with a screwdriver. ;)

The disappointing thing is that my radio still turns off when the turn signals are turned on, so I guess something is still wrong. I am hoping it is just the radio has gone bad.

I have a used replacement combination relay (N10?) for my '93 W140 Mercedes, but cannot figure out how to remove it. Do I just remove the two wiring connectors on the end and pull it out? Someone had a pic of one and it looked like wires of spaghetti, so not sure if it is simply plug and pull or not?

Also, someone sent me a turn signal relay, but where its location?

No one has ever changed out a combination relay on a W140 Mercedes? Seems odd considering this is a common item to eventually go out on these cars.

I suppose a trip to the MB mechanic is in my future, lol.

This sucker behind the rear of the fuse box is the relay you're talking about.

Yeah, I have seen that video before, but it didn't help me any. I cannot figure out why he has removed the steering wheel because the relay is under the hood.

I just needed some step by step instructions how to remove and reinstall it. When I got one, I was under the impression it was just a simple pull up and unplug and plug back up unit... I didn't know there were a million different wires to hooked to it. Pretty dumb set up if you ask me. :)

Well I have figured out how to get it loose, but now I cannot get the connections loose.
