New Cylinder Head Castings?

So, I have an option to get some new cylinder head castings for a bunch of MB gasser models and some BMWs as well. As cool as that seems (to me), I'm torn as to whether anyone would have any interest in them.

So what do y'all say? Would y'all be interested in brand new cylinder head castings, if they're pretty expensive (aka ~$1000 usd)? Or is that simply too much money?

I cant imagine there's a big demand for them. Maybe some of the real old models, where finding used replacements is difficult.

New as in factory issue or aftermarket?

Are they built up with new valves, springs and cams?

What engine models?

Aftermarket. They're just bare castings. I would build them up myself.

M102, M103 mostly.

~20 years ago I bought a fully machined, but bare, aftermarket head for my 1979 528i to replace the cracked head. They were billed as "Spanish" made. I pulled all the components off my old head and put them on the new head. Worked fine. IIRC I paid about $700 for the head. Seemed like a good deal at the time.

I think there is a market, but limited. Presumably your castings are repro parts rather than OEM, again presumably for older models. If the price is right you will have a few buyers.
