W108 Mercedes Benz 300SEL 1968 (6 cylinder)

Hi,

I am a new member and live in Cape Town, South Africa.

I have been the owner of the above car for the past 25 yrs
and had had great service and pleasure from it.

Except for the Air Suspension that have been a source of
many headaches in the past. As I will never sell this car I
have been thinking of the following solution. Is it possible
to convert the air suspension to coil spring suspension??

Would like to if anyone has ever done such a conversion and
what is involved in such a project?

I can't tell you how to do it, but I know it's a fairly common conversion here in the U.S.
