W211 4matic wagon airmatic height
I acquired a 2004 e500 4matic wagon with air ride.Previous owner had all air shocks replaced about a year ago, system works well at all settings. My concern is that the vehicle seems to sit very high,3 in gap above wheel,if I raise the height will go up another 1.5 in, then I can lower it back, however,it looks real high.I don't know if the dealer adjusted the normal level to high or,the 4matics have a higher overall ride then the rwd models, also, can the level be manual adjusted so the car will sit at a lower level at rest?

ride height can be set correctly only using the mercedes sds. your local dealer can do it, or a local shop with a sds.
