190e w 201 help!

Over the past year I've been upgrading and fixing anything and everything on my 190. On day my interior button lights just stopped working. My instrument cluster lights up just fine, along with all the warning lights and my dome lights. It's just all the switches that use to be lit up, now don't. So my AC controls and window switches aren't lit up any more. I'm about to go on a 3,000 mile drive in two days and was wondering if it would be a simple fix I can do before I leave. Any help would be much appeciated!

Just the switches on the dash? Do the window switches or shifter console light up?

The window switches, shifter lights and AC buttons are the only lights not working... my dash lights up fine.

Sounds like a wiring issue.

My W201 is similar....except only my dash and shifter lights work. Haven't dug into it yet.

My window switches, dash switches, and climate are dark.

No wiring issue.....The fuse is located attached to the back of the istrument cluster. Its a small red odd looking fuse. That is the fuse that controls the dash and switch lights.
