For some reason my username and password quit working. It wont let me contact them. It sends u to a stupid screen that has you solve a puzzle and enter the answer but gives no place to put your email or any other info in it.
Anybody got a idea how to get to them?

I think they updated their web and you need to re-enter both your user name and pw. When I went to the site it prompted me to re-log in. The user name was blank, but the pw was displayed as ********. I entered my user name, and it wouldn't connect. When I re-entered my user name and pw I connected (on the their home page).

Do your own homework and contact BW yourself. This is a Mercedes forum, not geek squad.

Why snipe at someone for what is a mercedes-related question? If they asked for help logging into EPC, would you still be so rude? You know, don't bother answering that because the answer is obvious.

I honestly don't see why anyone on this forum should have to fix his internet login issues with a completely different forum. I don't understand why I am being attacked? :confused:

I had some problems logging in but I have so many passwords.I just had to go slow

No one is asking you to fix their login issues. If you don't have a desire to assist
you simply refrain from helping. Anyone else who feels helpful can help, be it
online (visible) or via PM. Outright snarkyness seem to be playing out the drama
more than necessary.

Im sorry I asked. I just hoped someone would be able to assist me in contacting them as every thing I tried would not let me into their site or let me contact the admin of the site.
I know many of you are also on that site so I just wanted a little help..

Given the original poster can't find assistance on BW and it is likely someone on this list is on BW, asking for help here is valid.

As for jake12tech , go to his screen name / profile and click on "find all posts by xxxxxxx" You will see that rough posts like this isn't something new.

A member of this forum knew how to contact the admin and it will be solved. I am not the only one with the problem so I am sure they will get it fixed..

being that it's a holiday weekend in the US, it may take a few days before the
work ticket(s) is reviewed. what is requested is for them to review the 'reset
password' function.

I can't understand why folks around here seem to grind on comments and take it personal and attack others. It is what it is, right?

someone has trouble logging in to an MB site

unable to log in to gain the attention of that site's admin, they sought help via another MB site

colleagues who do not have access problems to that site can intervene and contact admin on their behalf.


example 2: folks have had difficulty accessing MBUSA's EPC. they post here. we give
them tips on JAVA compatibility. they use the tips and the problem is solved.

example 3: folks about to purchase a car. the post here asking for Carfax readout.
folks here jump in to help.

example 4: battery interruptus. radio code sought. they post here and help

Given the original poster could not contact anyone through the BW site and it was highly likely that someone on this site was on BW, it is reasonable for the OP to ask for assistance here.

So, just how should have our have intrepid OP proceeded when he was unable to get the contact button to work? Remember, post 14 states that other BW users were having the same problem.

I was contacted by the admin of the site and he gave me new password for my username and it don't work either.. I am baffled..

Have you been inadvertently banned?

It must be blocking week, I posted a few ads on craigslist, someone did the " I can buy this for xx, you are asking too much " and apparently tagged my acct. Now I get this when going to craigslist.org

They don't call it "Banzworld" for nothin', ya know.

People get banned there all the time for various reasons. Some make sense, some don't. Often "bannings" happen months after said "transgression" happened.

In my case, it was about 6 months after I deleted all of my posts there and defended myself, because a few idiots in their 126 forum started attacking me for posting knowledgeable, solid information and HOW-TOs.

I've re-registered several times with obvious accounts so folks have known it's me, and those accounts have gotten banned (again after some random lagging interval). Then there's my "official" account that is focused 100% on helping people with factual information from the factory -- the mods and members there don't have a flippin' clue it's me who's been helping them for the past 5-6 years, LOL !! They would be completely flabbergasted if they figured it out.

Ignorance is bliss.

My advice: just re-register under a new name & start over. Or give up on the place. It's full of bottom-feeding idiots and keyboard-warriors who love to fight with each other.

I doubt if I have been banned.. sure don't know of any issues I had.. Their admin sent me a new password to get in so I can change it to what I want but it doesn't work either.. I always enjoyed the forum when there was no fighting.. Guess I will just learn to get my info on this forum and one other.. Oh well I tried to get back on..

Had trouble Login at benz world also like the one member said web site update. Jake don't know you brother but I'm from WestChester,PA born and raised you was little out of line.

Just an fyi.. I haven't had any issues logging in to BW.

The reset password function now works and I was able to get in. Thanks for all those that gave me help with the issue..
