W210 A/C removal key

The metal key to insert and remove the climate control and radio

Can anyone provide the part # for this?

Thanks!

eBay has them for like $10.00. I have some from the Mercedes dealer as well, and they are the same quality. Don't waste the extra pennies.

Looks like about $1.99 on eBay whoops.. Added an extra zero. That's free shipping too from Hong Kong. I will PM you the link to them.

on the chance you have the time and inclination DIY keys. some folks have had success using fingernail file...the design with the curve, hooked pointy end

I have used the metal frame from older wiper blade inserts. They are about 0.020" thick and 0.125" wide, the square end worked just fine. Insert then move outward to trip latches, wiggle and pull.

The factory keys do work better as they keep the latches released and lock into place giving you something to pull on.

Also, when removing the keys be sure to bold the buttons in while extracting the key, sometimes it is a tight fit and the button will pop off. ( they are not that strong to begin with )
