A few things.
Have you checked for power at the motor with an incandescent light? ( digital meters / LED test lights will pickup stray voltage and give the impression that you have power but when a load is applied , it falls off. ) Tap on the motor while having the switch in the forward position. If you have a stuck brush this might be enough to make it move. I don't know how your car is set up but sometimes the motor can be unbolted and armature turned to move the seat. |

The seat should have power elevation (front and rear) so running the seat full up might help.
On the R129 SL the lower seat cushion is removable, not sure if yours is or if it will help. |

I was following your instructions to the letter then I decided to raise the rear of the seat so I could take the cover off the module and I tried to put the seat back and it went forward ,so I kept it going until I could get at the rear bolts. got the seat out and I am guessing that the module is bad water got to it . I have a spare so I will replace it and see. Thanks very much for your help
