Just bought sl500 95 20k miles,feel vibration or shudder in car between 30 and 80. Put on new factory wheels and tires,had balanced at dealer, still feel sensation. Not rotor feel, wheel is steady. Some say sl's just ride firm. The shudder is slight but still present. Car was never hit,visual inspect looks good. No weights off driveline etc. Some say with hard top off some ride that way. True? Any advice would help. Thnks

All SL's I have driven are stiff. It is the nature of the beast. There is a fine line between normal sensations and what I would call a vibration. My advice is to possibly go and drive another one and compare. Good luck and thanks for visiting. Benzmac
