That happened to me and it was a bad light switch. I was in downtown Cleveland OH trying to fix it and these 3 hookers came along and wouldn't leave me alone. So I had to drive away without lights to get away from them.

I hooked the wires that went to the head lights and tail lights to the hot wire on the switch for a temporary fix.

In the fuse box there are seperate fuses for each lamp, check & see whether or not they power up! If they don't then either the combo OR headlight switch isn't working.

MB Doc just did.

Go to the fusebox, with the lights turned on, see if you have power to the fuses. If no power then it's either the combination switch (combo) or the rotary switch (headlight switch).

Talking PEH

Those were not hookers. They were MB service reps trying to help you out!

I had the same problem about a year ago. No help anywhere could be found. The cause of the problem was the control unit for the lights that turns on the "bulb out" indicator was the problem. In my case the unit was not seated in it's socket as well as it should have been. The unit is located under the cover of the rear part of the fuse panel. Good luck.

J. Hildago,

I thought they were service reps too until one pulled her top down and says "You wanna suck my tits honey?" and the other one says "I wanna blow you to the moon." The third one could have been a service rep apprentice because she just watched and didn't say anything.
