Brake Pad Light
My brake pad light went on my 300E today. It only comes on once the pedal is pressed on all the way down. Under slight braking it doesn't go off. Is it the sensor or brake pads. By the way, I got the s600 yesterday. What a car!! Feels like a Porsche. The luxury and performance has no equal.

It is an indication that you need new pads. The sensors should be replaced when you are changing them. Good diyer type of job. Change the brake fluid while you are doing them and check the condition of the rubber hoses at the calipers.

Dont forget to mic you rotors and make sure they are in spec. You will see minimum spec stamped on the rotor. Have seen enough brake.
