replaced blower moter 1986 560SEL
 

I have replaced the blower motor in my 560SEL and it is running opposite direction. There are 3 wires i lost track of when putting back together brown, white and black/grn coming from the engine.
the colors on the motor side to the regulator are red, black and yellow.
the white and yellow wires are a smaller gauge than the others so I stuck them together. It seems obvious but...

I figured it out. The Red doesn't connect to the brown as I thought. It connects to the black/grn and the black from the motor connects to the Red. The yellow to the white as zi thought.
