CEL code P022
Hello!
I need some help here. My CEL came on yesterday. I took it to auto zone and it gave code P022 and gave me 3 possible things that could be wrong; blocked oil passage, timing belt jumped teeth or camshaft actuator. Mercedes Benz wants $165 just to get it checked, which is too much. My car is 2007 MB C230 sport, with 67K miles. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Do you have any symptoms like stalling, rough idle, hard starting, etc?
Were there any other codes? If none of the above I would just clear the code and see if it ever comes back. (Don't clear the codes if you have to get your emissions tested in the next week)
