Hello!

I need some help here. My CEL came on yesterday. I took it to auto zone and it gave code P022 and gave me 3 possible things that could be wrong; blocked oil passage, timing belt jumped teeth or camshaft actuator. Mercedes Benz wants $165 just to get it checked, which is too much. My car is 2007 MB C230 sport, with 67K miles. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any symptoms like stalling, rough idle, hard starting, etc?

Were there any other codes?

If none of the above I would just clear the code and see if it ever comes back.

(Don't clear the codes if you have to get your emissions tested in the next week)
