1999 S320 Heated Washer Hose?

I recently took hood off my 1999 S320 LWB car i couldnt get the hose to disconnect from the nozzle so i cut the hose i got a suprize when i found out there was wires running thru the hose

Is this just to power the heated nozzles or are these a heater wire running up the length i was gonna just splice them back together if they are just a power supply

And if not Is there any online source to get a new one? Im scared to even price one from MBZ

I'm pretty sure the hose is heated full length. ( If there are two parallel wires, the are likely embedded in what looks like insulation but really is a conductor to form a heating element. )

The washer bottle is heated with engine coolant so subbing a regular hose might not be a bad option.

UPDATE

I looked at a spare hood from a 96 SL 500 that has a cut hose. The hose has 2 wires molded into it. One is a Black / Blue tracer copper wire. The other is a spiral wound flat conductor, this is the heater.

Splicing the copper is easy, the heater will be more difficult id expect that it does not lend it self to soldering. And the flat conductor is very small.
