My windows dont work
I have an '85 E300 Turbo Diesel and the driver side window as well as the window next to it dont work. At first the window behind the driver seat didnt work. The window never went down until this one time and now it doenst come back up. I took out the window controls closest to the driver side, everything looked fine, but once i put it back, the driver side window doesnt work either. So i have 2 questions, is there a way to manually raise up the windows and also how can i fix the problem?
Thanx |

DDiesel,
Typically it IS the switch. They accumolate dirt because the design lets dirt fall down inside. See this thread: Window Switches Jeff |

Yes, I found that the switches for the windows on each side are connected, so if the Front right-hand side was disconnected, the rear right-hand side won't work. If this is what you've got, it's likely to be a switch problem.
