M110 Fuel Injected engine
I just purchased a 1985, 280SL with the twin cam six. Does this engine hve a "single chain" or "double chain" that drives the overhead cams? I remember MBZ cut some corners on the 380SL and used a single chain and regretted it. I hope mine was not another mistake!

All M110 engines have/had double row chains. Still should check basic cam timing every time the valves are adjusted. Once a year or every 10/15K miles.
