New to the MB Pelican forum!
Hey forum, just wanted to introduce myself.
My Name is George, I just got a 97 E320 last weekend with about 134K so far no running issues, we had some rain yesterday and I noticed some moisture buildup by the vanity mirrors/headliner area. Anything I can do about this? Any other "refreshers" I should do to the car would be appreciated. It is my first MB. |

My guess would be the window seal or new window not installed correctly.

Yup....its the window not installed correctly. I just noticed it yesterday, a 1/8" gap. I guess Ill just silicone it.

If it were my car, I'd find a reputable window installer and have him CORRECTLY install it. Like hoses, if one fails, they all will fail. You don't tell us where you live so we can't make any suggestions.

Sorry, I can't help but have you found an "indie"to work on your car yet? Unless you are really good with cars you should probably track one down. He would certainly have a source. Did you have a pre-sale inspection done by anyone? There is another section of this forum that shows recommended shops for all states. I'm sure you will find plenty of choice for OC. And you have the Mercedes Classic Center in Irvine.
