Try the top of the screen, for PartsShop or FastLane. Excellent quality, excellent prices, timely delivery. Can't go wrong

Zimmerman and ATE are both very good suppliers, often they make the MB originals.

ATE Discs

Go with the ATE (original MB supplier) I have found that the high quality and lower quality discs are about the same price. I think I paid $36 each for my new ATE front discs.

I personally like the ATE "PowerDiscs" which gives you a grooved rotor to supposedly help with the expelling of hot-gasses during braking.

Moreover, the grooving is set to a depth that once the groove is gone, it's time to get new rotors.

for street use: OEM suppliers will be plenty sufficient and perform effectively at a reasonable cost

for more aggressive use? the sky's the limit. 'search' will have a wealth of info

I have Brembo cross drilled and vented rotors (stock calipers) on my '88 325is and have way more braking than I need for even spirited enthusiastic street use.

Wouldn't grooved or crossed drilled rotors eat up your brake pads?

Cross-drilled rotors unless chamferred (sp?) do eat up brake-pads like a cheese-grater.

Slotted, or grooved in my experience with ATE PowerDiscs do not.
