Vacuum kick down module
Good morning,
I'm installing a use auto trans into my 95 e320 wagon. The trans that came out has number 1242712401. The used trans I have is number 1262712101. The only difference I can see is the one that came out has a vacuum module as part of the kick down. The used one I'm installing has only the cable kick down. Will the "new" used trans work if I plug the vacuum lines and use only the simple cable kick down? or will I need to transfer the vacuum module? Thanks, |

Would you happen to know the 722.x number of those transmissions?
Typically there are a few external connections on 722.3 and 722.4 series transmissions. 1) Vacuum 2) Bowden Cable / Kickdown Cable 3) Kickdown Solenoid 4) Neutral Safety Switch I'm not sure about the 722.5

It should have a vacuum modulator on the bottom. See the pictures in this listing:
