For a note, the steering box is the same as one the 2.3-16. The smaller airbag steering wheel was also offered on the SL500.

The "uber-rare" Sportline piece is the dogleg 5-gang shifter with the Sportline logo.

The seats are also the same as the 2.3-16 and 2.5-16 seats

Thanks for the link. I'm looking at getting new OEM sportline springs for my 2.6. I'm thinking using the same "bump count" rubber pads currently on it is most reasonable, since that info really isn't available anywhere.

The rubber spring pads varied from car to car depending on how it outfitted. ie. production year, engine used, optional equipment load, to obtain the preferred right height. The Sportline spring gave about a 1/2" drop, not particularly radical.

You may want to get aftermarket sports springs if you want a bigger drop and to pay less than dealer prices. They are about $115 each from my dealer. The Vogtland springs are $264 here and H&R are $250.

Bigger drop = sport struts and shocks, so chose wisely.

I was worried about the H&R shocks giving a harsh ride. I also had planned to stay with my newish Bilstein comfort shocks.

I think the part numbers for the sportline springs are:

Front 2013213704
Rear 2013243904

But I'm going to verify before ordering. The price I found was $500 shipped. So twice as much as the aftermarket springs.

With the shortened springs and comfort shocks, what size tire are you running? I'd be worried about rubbing if it's much bigger than stock.

I've got standard size tires (185/65R15) on that were a cheap set (Falken) I got to pass inspection a few years ago. Since then I've run them with the camber and toe out of whack on bad suspension so they are toast. But I have the suspension/aligment issues resolved now having rebuilt the front end sans the springs and sway bar.

My wheels are 15" AMG variety which I believe are one inch wider than stock. My plan was to go with 195/65R15 which has a larger selection. What did the Sportline come with stock?

Sportline tires are 205/55R15. Not a very common size at all. On my 190D, I had 205/55R16 on early CLK rims (like a 16x7 and 37 offset I think) and they rubbed on tight, fast turns with stock suspension and HD shocks, but I think a few other things came into play there with worn out springs and bad LCA bushings and sway bar bushings.
